LEGAL: PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

LAST UPDATED: JULY 2026

This privacy policy describes how Hunter Creative Media & Design collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website, contact us about a project, or submit one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram. Plain English, no surprises.

Section 01

Information We Collect

When you fill out the contact form on huntercreativemedia.com, we collect the information you choose to provide: typically your name, email address, company or project name, and the contents of your message.

When you visit any page on the site, our analytics tools collect a small amount of standard technical information automatically:

  • Contact form fields, whatever you type into the form: name, email, company, message, and any optional fields you fill in.
  • IP address and approximate location: collected by Google Analytics with the final octet of your IP address anonymized.
  • Browser, device, and operating system: for example, “Chrome on macOS” or “Safari on iPhone.”
  • Pages visited and referring source: which pages you viewed, how long you spent, and which site or search term sent you here.
  • Cookies: small files stored in your browser, used for analytics aggregation and basic anti-spam protection on the contact form.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, government IDs, health data, or any other sensitive personal information through this website.

Section 02

How We Use It

We use the information you submit, and the technical data collected automatically, for a short list of purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiry: if you fill out the contact form, Brian Hunter (the studio owner) will read your message and reply.
  • To follow up about your project: if we begin a working relationship, we may use your email and phone (if you provided one) to send proposals, scope documents, project updates, and invoices.
  • To improve the site: aggregate analytics tell us which pages people read, which case studies they spend time on, and where the site is slow or broken.
  • To communicate with you about services if you opt in: if and when we publish a newsletter, you would explicitly subscribe; we do not auto-add anyone to mailing lists.

That’s the full list. We don’t use your information for behavioral advertising, lead resale, profile-building, or any purpose unrelated to actually working with you.

Section 03

What We Don’t Do

The things this site (and Hunter Creative Media & Design as a studio) explicitly do not do with your data:

  • We don’t sell your data. Your name, email, IP address, and form contents are never sold, rented, or licensed to third parties for marketing.
  • We don’t share your data with marketers. We don’t pass your contact information to data brokers, lead-aggregator services, or affiliate networks.
  • We don’t spam you. If you contact us, you’ll get a reply about your project, not a drip sequence, not promotional emails you didn’t ask for, not “newsletters” you were silently enrolled in.
  • We don’t run on-site retargeting pixels. This website loads no Meta/Facebook pixels, TikTok pixels, LinkedIn Insight tags, or Google Ads remarketing tags. You will not see Hunter Creative Media ads following you around the internet after visiting. (We do run lead-generation ads on Facebook and Instagram (see “Facebook & Instagram Lead Ads” below), but those forms live on Meta’s platforms, not on this site, and the leads they produce are never used for retargeting.)
  • We don’t sell ad space. No third-party advertisers run on huntercreativemedia.com, and there are no ad-network scripts loaded on any page.
Section 04

Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which pages are useful. Google Analytics sets a small number of first-party cookies in your browser that allow it to distinguish you from other visitors and aggregate session data.

These analytics cookies do not personally identify you to us. We see counts, page paths, and traffic sources, not individual identities.

The site does not use third-party advertising cookies, social-network tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies of any kind.

You can disable cookies at any time. Every modern browser lets you block cookies entirely, block third-party cookies only, or clear cookies on demand. Browser extensions like uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger will block analytics scripts before they ever load. The site works fine with cookies disabled.
Section 05

Form Submissions

The contact form on this site is processed by FormSubmit.co, a third-party form-handler that delivers the contents of your submission to brian (at) huntercreativemedia (dot) com. Your submission travels: your browser → FormSubmit’s servers → the studio inbox.

Once a submission lands in the inbox, it’s handled like any other email: read, replied to, and retained as part of normal project records.

  • Retention. Form submissions are kept in the inbox and any related project files for as long as the project (or potential project) is active.
  • Auto-deletion. Inquiries that go quiet are deleted from active records after 24 months of no activity.
  • Active clients. Project records for active or recent clients are retained for the duration of the engagement plus standard tax/business-record windows after the engagement ends.
  • Opt-out. You can ask us to delete any record of your inquiry at any time. See “Your Rights” below.

Section 06

Facebook & Instagram Lead Ads

Hunter Creative Media & Design runs lead-generation ads for our own studio on Facebook and Instagram (Meta platforms). These ads use Meta’s native “instant form”: you fill it out on Facebook or Instagram, not on this website.

When you submit one of our lead forms, Meta notifies our own server and we retrieve the information you entered (typically your name, email address, and phone number) through Meta’s official Lead Ads API. That is the only data we receive, and only for leads submitted to our own ads.

  • What we do with it. The lead is stored privately in our own database on our own hosting and emailed to the studio so we can follow up with you about the service you enquired about. Nothing more.
  • Where it goes. Your submission travels: Meta → our own server (huntercreativemedia.com) → the studio inbox. It is never sent to a third-party CRM, data broker, or lead-aggregator, and it is never sold or shared for marketing.
  • Retention & deletion. Lead records follow the same rules as contact-form inquiries above: deleted after 24 months of no activity, or immediately on request.
  • Your control. To access or delete any lead record we hold about you, email brian (at) huntercreativemedia (dot) com. See “Your Rights” below.

We handle this data in accordance with Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies. Meta’s own handling of the data collected through its forms is governed by Meta’s Privacy Policy.

Section 07

Third-Party Services

The full list of third-party services touched by this website, and what each one does:

Google Analytics
Aggregate traffic statistics: page views, sessions, sources. IP addresses are anonymized.
FormSubmit
Contact-form handler. Receives form submissions and emails them to the studio inbox.
Meta (Facebook / Instagram)
Hosts our lead-ad instant forms and delivers the leads (name, email, phone) to our own server via Meta’s Lead Ads API. See “Facebook & Instagram Lead Ads” above.
SiteGround
Website hosting. Server logs (IP, request URL, timestamp) are retained according to SiteGround’s policy.
WordPress
Content management system that powers the site. Open-source software running on our hosting.
Google Fonts
Loads the typefaces you see on this page (Newsreader, Inter, JetBrains Mono).

Each of these services has its own privacy policy and is operated independently of Hunter Creative Media & Design.

Section 08

Your Rights

Regardless of where you live, the studio honors a small set of basic data rights for anyone who has interacted with the site:

  • Right to access. Request a copy of any data we hold about you: form submissions, email correspondence, project notes.
  • Right to correction. Ask us to correct anything inaccurate (a misspelled name, an outdated email address, a wrong company name).
  • Right to deletion. Request that we delete any record of you from our active files. We’ll comply unless we’re legally required to retain something (rare; typically only for tax/invoice records).
  • Right to opt out of any future communication. Ask not to be contacted again, and we won’t be.

To exercise any of these rights, use the contact form and tell us what you’d like done. Reasonable requests are honored within a few business days.

Section 09

Children’s Privacy

This site is intended for business owners, organizations, and adults inquiring about web design and custom web application services. It is not directed at children under the age of 13, and Hunter Creative Media & Design does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a child under 13 has submitted information through this site, please use the contact form and we will delete that information promptly.

Section 10

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the top of the page. For material changes (new third-party services, expanded data collection, or any change to how data is shared), we’ll add a short note at the bottom of this section describing what changed and when.

Routine wording cleanups and clarifications won’t be flagged individually; the date at the top of the page is the source of truth for when the policy was last reviewed.

Change log. May 2026: initial publication of this policy in its current form, replacing the prior version.
Section 11

Contact

Questions about this policy, requests to access or delete your data, or anything else privacy-related: please use the studio contact form. We don’t list a public phone number or email on this page; the form goes directly to the studio inbox and is the fastest way to reach us.
