SHEET.04 RATE CARD · REV 2026
DRAWING: RATE CARD FLAT RATES / FIXED QUOTES / NO SURPRISES

Web design pricing that fits on one sheet.

Three flat rates, printed right here on the page: no “request a quote” runaround, no hourly meter, no invoice that grew while you weren’t looking.

I run a hand-coded web design studio in Aurora, IL, and I price the way I’d want to be priced: a fixed number before work starts, the code in your name when it’s done, and 90 days of edits after launch so nothing nickel-and-dimes you on the way out. Most small-business sites land in the first two tiers below; if your project needs to do something (bookings, portals, dashboards), the third tier covers custom builds.

Rate Card / Three Sheets

Pick the sheet that matches the job.

Every website starts from one of three specs. Launch gets a new or outdated business online properly. Growth is the one most clients pick: it adds the local-SEO machinery that makes the site earn its keep. Custom is for sites that work like software. All three are flat-rate web design: the number below is the number on the invoice. If you are holding this up against other quotes, our guide to how much a website costs in 2026 breaks down what actually drives the number. Selling products online? Switch the rate card to Online Stores.

Questions / Pricing

The fine print, read aloud.

Q.01
Why flat-rate web design pricing?
Because hourly billing punishes you for working with someone fast. I hand-code sites, which means I build quickly. A flat rate means you know the full cost before any work starts, in writing, and it never creeps. We agree on scope up front; if you want more later, extra pages are a flat $130 each.
Q.02
What’s NOT included in the price?
Domain registration and hosting are paid directly to the provider in your name (typically $100–200/year total), so you own them outright. Logo design, branded photography, and writing all your content from scratch are also outside scope, though Growth includes a full polish pass on the copy you provide. After your included 90 days of edits, ongoing changes are handled by a care plan from $85/month or billed per request.
Q.03
How fast can you launch my website?
A Launch-tier site goes live in about two weeks from kickoff. Growth builds typically run three to four weeks, and Custom projects are scheduled per scope after the discovery call. The biggest variable is content: the faster you get me your text, photos, and logins, the faster the site ships.
Q.04
Do you build online stores?
Yes. Store Launch is $1,800 flat for a Shopify or WooCommerce store with up to 25 products, five content pages, and payments, shipping, and tax set up. Store Growth is $4,500 flat for up to 100 products with custom templates and Google Shopping, and Custom Commerce starts at $7,500 for large catalogs and product configurators. Your platform plan, card processing, hosting, paid themes, and paid apps are separate and billed to you by those companies. The full scope is on my e-commerce website design page.
