Web Design Case Studies: Real Client Rebuilds by Hunter Creative Media & Design
Seven client rebuilds across healthcare, financial services, real estate, non-profit, and home services. Hand-coded sites built for businesses across Aurora and Chicago’s western suburbs.
Seven rebuilds, seven different verticals. One studio.
Each rebuild started with a tired or underperforming site and ended with a custom-coded WordPress build wired to the tools the business actually uses. Click any card below to read the full case study with before/after screenshots, problem statement, approach, and outcomes.
Heritage Wealth Solutions
A trust and estate planning practice running on a dated template that didn’t reflect the seriousness of the work. We rebuilt the site around a trust-focused full-screen brand experience and wired the consultation form directly into the CRM, so qualified inquiries route in seconds, not days.
Dr. Samiya Hashmi MD
A functional medicine practice in Chicago that needed a site as patient-first as the practice itself. We delivered a calm, clinical-but-warm design with calendar booking baked in and a custom blog system the team can update without a developer in the loop.
Angie Daniels Real Estate
A RE/MAX Alliance agent in Edwardsville, IL who needed a serious agent-brand site that could carry both buyer and seller leads. We built a hand-coded, dark-themed brand experience with live listings, neighborhood guides, and lead capture tuned for the local Metro East market.
QCAA Foundation
The Quad-County African American Foundation needed a site that did three jobs at once: collect donations, run a scholarship portal, and surface a real event calendar. We built a single WordPress site with a Stripe-backed donation flow and a custom portal that staff can manage in-house.
Air Cortez Houston
A lead-generation HVAC site purpose-built for the Houston market. Service-area targeting across the metro, prominent emergency CTAs for the hottest days of the year, and live review integration that pulls real customer feedback into the trust signals where it actually does work.
Hot Dog Business Growth
A 36-year-old California consulting firm with a generic Divi template was buried in the crowd. We replaced it with a brand-led site: a provocation hero, a numbers strip that puts the credentials above the fold, and an embedded contact form so prospects don’t have to hunt for the next step.
Card Imaging
An authorized ID card printer dealer and service center, family-run since 1984, stuck on a thin 17-page site that hid its catalog and expertise. We rebuilt it into a 440-page hand-coded e-commerce and resource platform: a full printer, ribbon, and card catalog, industry and city landing pages, a guided printer finder, a glossary and video library, and a self-serve software store.
